ADW Clamp-on Ultrasonic Flow Meter:
The ADW clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter is a clamp-on, non-contact fluid flow measurement device. The device continuously transmits ultrasonic waves to the center of the pipe section using two ultrasonic sensors and receives the echoes reflected from the fluid. By measuring the propagation time of the ultrasonic waves in the pipe section, the flow velocity and flow rate of the liquid in the pipeline can be calculated.
Non-destructive and safe: Clamp-on non-contact measurement, installation without pipe cutting
Compared to traditional insertion or throttling flow meters, the biggest advantage of the ADW clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter is that it achieves high-precision measurement through external clamping without cutting pipes or interrupting the process flow. This solves long-standing industry pain points such as media leakage, pressure loss, and cumbersome installation in industrial field measurements. The device is directly installed on the outer wall of the pipe, and the sensor does not directly contact the fluid medium, thus eliminating the risk of leakage and preventing any contamination of the medium inside the pipe. This characteristic gives it significant application advantages in fields with high cleanliness requirements, such as biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, and semiconductor manufacturing.
Flexible Adaptability: Full Coverage of Rigid Metal and Flexible Plastic Pipes
The ADW clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter exhibits excellent pipe material compatibility. The product is compatible with both rigid metal and flexible plastic pipes, covering the most common pipe material requirements in the industrial field. For metal pipes, the device is compatible with various metal pipes such as carbon steel and stainless steel; for non-metal pipes, it is compatible with various plastic pipes such as PVC and PPR. During installation, users simply clamp the sensor to the outer wall of the pipe and fix it in a suitable location to complete the deployment; the entire process requires no special tools or complex pipe modifications.
For measuring flexible plastic pipes, the ADW clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter can be applied in production scenarios with extremely high hygiene and cleanliness requirements, such as medical devices, biopharmaceuticals, and semiconductor equipment. The sensor can be directly clamped to the outside of the flexible plastic pipe to accurately measure the liquid flow velocity inside the pipe and detect air bubbles and large solid impurities in the liquid. Because the sensor does not directly contact the liquid in the pipe, it will not cause contamination, making it particularly suitable for liquid flow monitoring in biopharmaceutical processes.
Multi-Media Compatibility: Measuring Multiple Fluids Including Water, Ethanol, and Chemical Solutions
The ADW clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter excels in fluid compatibility, supporting a wide range of fluids including water, ethanol, and chemical solutions, covering scenarios from basic water management to fine chemical production. In municipal water management, the device can be used for non-invasive monitoring and leak detection in water supply networks, accurately locating leak points without affecting water supply, thus contributing to water conservation and energy saving. In industrial manufacturing, the device can measure the flow rate of cooling water in water-cooled equipment and perform real-time metering and monitoring of various process water uses.
For the measurement needs of the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, the ADW clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter can safely and reliably measure a variety of chemical media such as ethanol, acid and alkali solutions, and organic solvents. The device can measure water, seawater, oil, and various chemical media, while being compatible with common pipe materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, plastic, and brass, demonstrating excellent field adaptability and meeting measurement needs in various industrial environments. Because the sensor does not contact the medium, the instrument is particularly suitable for measuring chemically corrosive, toxic, or ultrapure media.
