ADW Self-Developed Flow Transducer with Pipe Assembly to Debut at ASIA WATER 2026

2026.04.04

As global water resource management accelerates towards precision, ADW is launching its self-developed Flow Transducer with Pipe assembly, which will be showcased at ASIA WATER 2026 (Asian Water Treatment Exhibition), held from April 7th to 9th, 2026 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in Malaysia. As a core metering component of ultrasonic water meters, this product offers a novel technological solution for smart water management due to its lack of moving parts, high-precision measurement, and compliance with international drinking water standards.

Innovative design to solve the pain points of traditional measurement

The ADW Flow Transducer with Pipe assembly is specifically designed for ultrasonic water meters. It uses a built-in ultrasonic sensor to measure the upstream and downstream flow velocities of water in real time, accurately converting this data into flow rate, providing a reliable basis for water meter readings. Its core advantages are:

Ultra-high measurement accuracy:
It adopts the ultrasonic time difference method measurement principle, which is not affected by impurities or electromagnetic interference in the water. It can stably achieve high-resolution flow monitoring and effectively reduce the difference between water supply production and sales.

No moving parts, zero eddy current loss:
There are no mechanical rotating parts inside the pipe section, which completely eliminates the metering deviation caused by friction, wear or foreign object jamming in traditional impeller water meters, while avoiding the generation of eddies and ensuring a stable flow field.

Environmentally friendly materials and green compliance: The product shell is made of new environmentally friendly materials, which balances strength and lightweight; the internal sensor material strictly complies with the drinking water hygiene standards of many countries to ensure water quality safety and can be widely used in residential, commercial and industrial drinking water metering scenarios.

Focusing on ASIA WATER 2026, and cultivating regional markets
ASIA WATER 2026 is Southeast Asia's most influential water treatment industry event, bringing together global water experts, utilities, and technology providers. ADW chose this platform to launch its sensor assembly, aiming to address the urgent need in Southeast Asia for smart water meter upgrades and leakage control.

“Currently, many cities in Asia are transitioning from mechanical water meters to ultrasonic smart water meters, and the accuracy and long-term stability of core metering components are crucial.” An ADW representative stated, “Our  Flow Transducer with Pipe assembly not only solves the problems of wear and accuracy degradation in traditional water meters, but also provides local water companies with a plug-and-play, safe, and reliable upgrade solution using materials that meet drinking water standards in multiple countries.”

Empowering smart water management and ushering in a new era of metering
With increasing global emphasis on the efficient use of water resources, ultrasonic water meters are gradually becoming the mainstream in the market due to their long lifespan, high accuracy, and digital advantages. The introduction of ADW Flow Transducer with Pipe assemblies not only lowers the R&D and production barriers for water meter manufacturers but also provides end users with a fairer and more transparent water metering experience.

We welcome everyone to visit the ADW booth at ASIA WATER 2026, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, from April 7-9, 2026, to discuss the future applications of ultrasonic metrology technology.
